Where are we going next?

What would your day-to-day activities include?

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Work with the team on new ideas, best practices, and strategies on the back-end development for given applications
  • Drive quality and deliver high-quality code with various levels of automated tests (unit, integration, performance, and security)
  • Identify and solve bottlenecks and bugs
  • Ensure the best possible performance and quality of large-scale web applications and services

  • Work with other team members and technical leads effectively and with minimal supervision
  • Support with Scrum/Agile software development approach (e.g., sprint, standups, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.)
  • Understand high level business requirements, produce technical specifications, design and architectures, and propose solutions based on technical options, scope and risk
  • Document requirements and specifications
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality and teamwork

What do we expect from you?

As a general rule of thumb, we expect 2-4 years of experience for a MID position,
4+ years for SENIOR, and 5+ years for LEAD.
This can be modified depending on the size and/or complexity of the project.

+ Very good knowledge of one of the following programming languages and frameworks: Java (Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), Golang, Javascript/Typescript (node.js), Ruby on Rails, C# (.NET/.NET Core/Entity Core)

+ Experience with the latest UI development frameworks and technologies in the industry

+ Experience with test-driven development

+ Experience in creating and consuming RESTful APIs

+ Experience with code management systems like GIT

+ Experience in working in Agile Teams

+ Nice to have: experience working with AWS 

+ Experience with relational (e.g. MySQL) and/or non-relational databases (e.g. MongoDB)

+ Advanced oral and written English

+ Strong communication skills

+ Great team player skills

+ Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
